Space has always sparked the imagination, not only in science fiction, but also in astronomy and astrophysics. Without the desire and imagination to explain and understand the inexplicable, new answers and new questions would not be found.
Is space finite or infinite? Is there one universe, or are we dealing with a multiverse after all? Can we get into space and time through wormholes in other universes, other dimensions?
These ideas form the background for a ceiling picture. Because when it is hung from the ceiling, it is the best way to stimulate the viewer’s imagination… “to go, where boldly no one has gone before.” (Star Trek, the original series 1966 – 1969)
