At the beginning of 2022, there was a storm surge in northern Germany again. My fence or privacy shield of straw mats was torn down several times by the strong wind and had to be fixed again and again.
The storm also tore large aisles into the coastal landscape and carried away the sand. It’s an impressive spectacle of nature, but it’s also a sign of the increasing climate change. The storms are happening more often, and their strength is increasing.
