This work has a quote from Daphne DuMauriers novel “Rebecca” as a title. It shows the path to the narrator’s country house. She dreams about this path and narrates in retrospect how she came to Manderley and her experiences.
The novel impressed me early on as a teenager.
I remember this quote whenever I’m able to recall my dreams in the morning.
