Bark Beetle

I’ve been driving an old beetle for ages. Just as in the commercials from decades ago, it’s “running and running and running”. Strangely, the idea to merge a beetle with an old but blooming tree appeared to me in my dreams. As soon as I woke up, I started to put this particular thought on canvas. Both the beetle and the tree are old but in no way weak, in poor health, or elderly – on the contrary: They gained a lot of experience. Their age and wisdom are their strengths. They will be thriving for years to come.
