Inspired by the art of Dada or Dadaism (1916-1925), the shelf was created from an old roasting pot, records, LPs and singles and a cardboard Doctor Who advertisement. The shelf is filled and painted with “used look” or “vintage” paint and kitchen spices. Since the sci-fi series “Doctor Who” with its British humor always has Dadaist traits (cf. Daleks, aliens with an arm made of a plunger or siphon cleaner), the title is chosen to match.
