This painting is the third approach to portray a person who, since I met them about two years ago, is constantly changing. To capture all their facets is therefore simply impossible. It seems that a transformation happens as if a butterfly emerges, slowly spreading its wings and enjoying the transformation that allows the butterfly to rise to new horizons when the wings have dried. Just like that, the person plays with gender roles like a diva from old movies of the last century, be it Zarah Leander, Marlene Dietrich, Jane Russel, etc. Where the journey goes is impossible to say. The facets and possibilities are endless.
